Is the Titan XD better than the Titan? ›

The Nissan TITAN was designed to be a full-size pickup while the Nissan TITAN XD is a heavy-duty truck. This translates into the TITAN being able to tow up to 9,290 pounds while the TITAN XD can tow up to 11,050 pounds of weight.
