| Roster | No protection on roster changes, company reserves the right to amend live roster and change duties for operational reasons. The only protection you get is choosing 4 duties each month you do not want changed, and that limits the change the company can make on that duty to -2hrs to plus 2hrs on that day.ie they can still change your duty. Standard days off per year (NOT LEAVE) from April 2024 will increase from 122 days to 130 days off per year.Roster trials are not good. AM/PM preference only for 12.5% of pilots. 10 years in company and still not guaranteed. Fixed pattern is designed to maximise weekends worked. | 7/Apr/24 |
| Leave | 3 groups, rotate each year. Bids alphabetical a-z summer, z-a winter, so possible you don’t get the dates off you want even if in first bid group. 37 days. No wrap round days. Maximum of 9 days to be taken mid may-end sept. No restriction on other months. Normally 10 days off a month, however if you take leave the company reduce the amount of days off they legally have to give you that month. For example 7 days leave reduces your normal days off by 3 days. Ie 14 days off total. 13 leave days reduces days off by 5. Ie 18days off that month total. | 3/May/24 |

| Company sent out communication on latest update to pilots. Not meeting recruitment targets especially for the Airbus Fleet and short of Airbus trainers. Still focusing on type rated for the Airbus with only 757 pilots being moved over to Airbus, by 2025 all 75’s will be gone.B737 still going to play a major part for a very long time. Still not meeting lifestyle promise with very little opportunity for working patterns and preferences which is all done on seniority. Summer rosters at Jet2 are becoming unsustainable and as their winter program increases at some of the bigger bases winters rosters are becoming like summer.Majority of pilots on permanent long lates with some departures times this summer of 7pm on 4+ hour sectors with 5on2off with only 1 weekend off a month of your lucky. Company seems to be working hard to fix problems but every year nothing changes. Big thing for pilots is lifestyle.Attrition is increasing as pilots move to other airlines with more options of lifestyle and working patterns. | 5/Feb/24 |

| Three stages: Stage 1: online maths, verbal reasoning and personality tests emailed to you to be completed at home in your own time prior to the interview day (they will include the tests in your invite to interview email) Stage 2: Assesment day (in Bradford). They will start off with a presentation on the company and the various positions they have available ( 70%/100% and temporary contracts). Following this you will complete a group exercise followed by an interview usually with two pilots. The interviewers can be of any rank from FO up to Chief Pilot. Generally a relaxed chat with the standard interview questions. You should expect to hear the outcome immediately and if you’re successful you will be invited to the training centre for a sim session on the same day. Stage 3: Simulator. Due to capacity at the training centre most assessments are taking place on the 757 at present. You will be with two training captains, one operating the sim and one as your PM. All they are looking for is a good level of competency and the ability to improve. If you make a mistake or have a bad start don't worry, they will give you the opportunity to fix it and show what you have to offer. Practice aptitude and psychometric tests here. | 5/Mar/18 |
